If you were insecure about The Love of God over your life, have ears to hear today. You don’t even know this whole time that the Love of God has been all around you. Nothing can separate you from the Love of God, not tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword. Not death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any creature, as it says in Romans 8:35-39! Do you believe the Word? Do you know that He said He will never leave you nor forsake you? Beloved, never is never! You could do this, that, or the third; He still made a vow to you that He would never leave you (Hebrews 13:5). Does that mean you will always experience the blessing? Does that mean you will always see the favor? Does that mean you will always see the power and glory in your life? No! It’s actually because of love that you may not be seeing these things in your life! Or it might be why you’re not seeing a greater measure of these things. I feel the Lord saying, “I hate to see you live paycheck to paycheck; I hate to see you broken, beat-up by the devil; I hate to see you bitter, without joy, full of wrath, heavy. I’m not trying to make you like this; I’m trying to deliver you from this.” Whatever He has to do to care for you, to deliver you, to set you free, He will do. He will shake things to have you, He will break things to have you, move things, close doors, and open doors. Even the devil doesn’t even realize he’s being used to push you right back into the arms of the Father.

It’s not hard for God to do these things in your life, like promises, prosperity, blessings, glory, and healing. It’s like the flip of a switch for Him. What’s hard is that He wants to bless you and delights in the prosperity of His servants, but He knows if He gives it to you, it will destroy you if you're not ready. In His love He is making us ready so that He does not lose you to the blessing. You want to be blessed like that, but you will be destroyed. You want to move in a greater level of Glory, but slowly you will start taking the Glory. God wants us to be blessed and responsible, blessed but with the right purpose, blessed but without inordinate affection for the things of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Exalted but humble; Glorified but knowing who is being magnified! Many say if God did this, if God did that, or gave me that or this, I would be closer to Him, I would serve Him more. That’s a lie from the pit of hell because if that was the case, He would have given that to you or done that for you because what He wants is you! He wants you to come closer more than you want come to come close. He might not feel close, but that’s exactly what’s going to make you want to get closer! And the day we start wanting God with all of our heart, mind, and soul more than what He can give, that’s when these promises start to manifest and in greater measure. This is in the Word! Think about the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, who had an inheritance, promises, and blessings. He was working on his father’s land, but he wasn't working for the inheritance. I believe his father was working on him to prepare him for the inheritance. The inheritance was already his, and we can see that he was able to ask for it and have it without continuing to work. Remember, this is just a story and an example Jesus is using, and there’s so much revelation in this story and depth to it, but in this aspect, we can see that the prodigal son wasn’t ready for the inheritance and wasn’t ready for the blessing at its full measure. And what did it do? It destroyed him, and he ended up back in the pigpen, back in the worldliness of the world. The blessing destroyed Him. So many want the inheritance, but nobody wants the preparation it takes to carry it. This isn’t about holding anything back from you; this is about Love! A love that burns so HOT, so fiery for you, that He would rather have you in the place that He has you because if He takes you to a place that you’re not prepared for, He will lose you! Let just say things out right. God wants to see you blessed, anointed, favored, all these things. Yet He wants you more than He wants to see you blessed!

God is not focused on making you blessed and prosperous. He’s focused on forming you into The Image of God! Forming you into a son, not only to be called a son but to be a son! There’s a difference! The manifestation of walking as a son, being like your Father! We want to still walk like a vagabond and have the benefits of Sonship. We still want the Kingdom without looking like the King. No, we need to be transformed and transfigured, in heart, in mind, in conduct, and in character so that there won’t be any cracks in the pot and we can carry revelation, truth, blessing, authority, anointing, and Glory, with integrity, honesty, purity, and righteousness, in holiness and good stewardship. This isn’t popular, but God doesn’t want or need more prodigal sons. I believe He’s showing us through that story what it would look like if He gives us these precious promises too early or when we’re not prepared for them. He wants to give you these things, but this is the conflict of the one who loves us: He wants to bless; it’s His good pleasure to pour out the Kingdom on us, but even God has first Love! He loves seeing us prosper. He loves seeing us move in authority and power because it glorifies Him. He loves seeing us move in mighty exploits and having what He promised. He loves those things upon us, but His First love is you and having you for eternity. That is the priority for Him. If you’re a good parent, you’re not going to give your kids a million dollars if you know that it’s going to change who they are and become their identity. We, being evil outside of God and parenting in that way, how much more will our Father, who has true Love for us, protect us and care for us (Matthew 7:11). You want people, influence, and attention, but God is not giving it to you because of what it will do to you. And you face so much rejection, but you don’t even realize it’s protection from you being turned over to what you want or what you're not ready for, because it’s going to change who you are and become your God.

Didn’t He say to Saul after he made the praise of man his God? When you were small in your own eyes, you were anointed King (1 Samuel 15:17). What happened when you did things for Me to be seen by Me? But now that you have become King, you do it to be seen by man? David, what happened when you were just a shepherd boy, ready to do anything for the Lord, but when you became King, high and lofty, you started to get complacent and use your power to get what you want by turning over your best man to have his wife? It doesn’t matter if you’re David or Saul, but if you are Son, God is madly in love with you. These are examples of many that prosperity and these things got to their heads. God is protecting you from becoming an example and showing you through other examples what He is protecting you from. You are His first love - He will not let anyone else have you! If He can’t have you, no one else will. Not money, not riches, not fame, not man, not dreams. When the one whose name is called Jealous is after you, there’s nowhere to run, nowhere to hide! Jonah was trying to run from God, but no man whom God sets His affection upon can outrun His love. You can run, but you can’t hide because His love will find you! Some people are so stubborn that God has to save them on their deathbed, and some just really push God away until that last breath. God won’t force anyone to be with Him forever. But once you’re His, once He makes covenant with you, that’s it; you’re marked by love for life. Do whatever you think you’re allowed to do in your free will, but the Love of God will not give up on you. Some of you reading this, you felt far from God, you felt insecure, but today be secure in the Love of God, because you can’t escape it. It’s all around, and you don’t even know, it’s at every turn. It’s in stumbling blocks, it’s in storms, it’s in the buffeting, it’s in those Job 1 experiences. It’s in the good, the bad, and the ugly, but it’s there nonetheless. Remember, the Bible says that He chastises those He loves and scourges every son He receives. Read Hebrews 12:5-11, and it says if ye be without chastisement, ye are bastards and not sons. Rejoice in the chastisement, rejoice in the correction, because it means you are loved, you are cherished as a son! We need to wake up to His deep love. David said the hand of the Lord was heavy upon Him, and it caused him to acknowledge his sin and not hide his iniquity (Psalm 32)! Sometimes the heaviness you might be feeling is the hand of the Lord. It’s the love of God bringing you to repentance.

You thought love was one way, but no, your version of love was too little, too small. The real love of God is extreme because it has no limits, it has no bounds. It will keep running after you all day and all night. It will keep you up at night and chase you in the day. You wanted God to love you? Now His love might be too much for you! But you, body of Christ, have been asking for His Love, and He says, “You want to see it, Sons and Daughters? Are you even ready to eat this scroll? My love is deeper and heavier than you could even imagine.” God, why is this happening? God, why is that happening? God, why did that person do this? Why did this person do that? Why did this person leave? Love is all around, and you think you are being rejected by God. You think you are far from God, but He’s actually pulling you closer, humbling you, making you weak so you can find your strength in Him! Humbling you so He can exalt you. You might not see it yet because things seem unpleasant, but stop looking on the surface level, Son or Daughter. Look to the eternal, look to what matters more and most. The Love of God is more than making you happy; it’s about saving your soul. Does it not say that one could turn one over to Satan for the destruction of their flesh, that their spirit might be saved (1 Corinthians 5:5)? Wow, even destruction when it leads to salvation. Even being given to Satan is to save your soul! What? What an upside-down Kingdom! I know so many people who are in the belly of a whale, and they’re having problem after problem after problem, but the problem is they are His, and that’s why there are so many problems, because just like Jonah, Jonah was shipwrecked by love. Turned over to destruction but saved. He was in the belly of the whale, in the bowels of mercy, or you can say the bowels of Love! Some of you are in the bowels of love; you think that God is against you, but He is just taking you for a ride in the whale to spit you back out where you belong! See it as mercy. The orphan spirit sees it as hate, but a son sees it as love and mercy! We need new eyes because Love is all around you and can’t be separated from you. Even if you believe that He doesn't, all that does is blind you from the fact that He does.

Even when you feel far from Him, He's right there using that feeling like a fishing line to pull you in! He’s drawing you, waiting for you. He’s even calculating you. He knows what we will do before we do it. He knows what draws us. Even His silence is Love because He's opening your mouth to speak to Him, or to wait for you to listen to Him. He’s a burning lover who burns to hear from you, who desires your attention. You don’t know who your God is. His Word is true, His name is jealous, as it says in Exodus 34:14, and He is jealous for His bride, for you, and for me.
