MASTER OF VOICES

MASTER OF VOICES

Jesus was a master of voices. He knew when God was talking. He knew when the devil was talking. He knew when He Himself was speaking as a man. He knew when the voice of man was speaking. He knew when the enemy came pretending to be a voice of light. He knew when the enemy tried to twist scripture. He knew the enemy came disguised with the Word.

And if Jesus sweat as drops of blood in His walk, and He could tell the difference when it was God and when it was not, and we being the church of these days are always getting fooled by the enemy’s voice and lies, how will we make it?

Though God has spoken long ago. He gave us an answer! It’s time for us as the church to come to grips with how God wants to confirm His voice or His actions. He has a way. Too many are trying to hear God in their own way. Though now it’s time to go back to the basics, the truth. His way, as always.

“Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness because the Spirit is truth.” 1 John 5:5-6

The Spirit is what? Truth! Not just the comforter. Not just the one that makes your hair stand up. He is Truth! And His main objective is to carry out all manner of truth according to the will of God.

The verse above states: “It is the Spirit that bears witness.” It is the Spirit that lets us know deep down inside what is God and what is not. When we first believed in Jesus, we didn’t raise a bunch of questions and force ourselves to believe. We didn’t figure out in our minds and finally just decide to believe.

For most of us, we had an event happen. We heard a voice; we heard a message; we had an encounter. Yet when it happened, it just happened. And the Spirit bore witness in our spirit that Jesus was Lord. We just knew that we knew that we knew, and, in that moment, we were born again.

See, it was the Spirit that showed us, that gave us that deep knowing inside of our spirit. It wasn’t a mind thing. Our heart and spirit knew it without question, without doubt: because God came inside of us and became a witness. What is a witness? Someone who is an advocate of EVIDENCE of something or someone to be true. By the way, what is faith? EVIDENCE of things not seen. What is not seen by this world? God and Truth. This isn’t just any witness, this is the Holy Spirit! And He is the inward witness.

The Spirit IS Truth! You want Truth? It’s in the Spirit. He is the source of all truth. He is Truth itself! And whatever He says, does, and declares is Truth. Everything else is a lie. So why are we so relenting on relying on the Spirit of God? The Spirit of God is God.

The innermost being of a man is His spirit! And the innermost being of God is His Spirit. His Spirit is not just a spirit that He sends out to do His dirty work. No! It’s Him Himself! The inner being of the Father Himself! People try to separate His spirit from Him, but He is the Spirit.

Jesus said I will send you the HELPER, the Holy Spirit which will show you all things. Which will HELP you in all things. And now He has filled you, now He is in you. The inward witness! The witness that is living inside of you that you may know all manner of truth as God would be pleased. The same witness that Jesus lived by to know all things.

When we first believed, it was the Spirit that revealed. So how come most Christians have trouble finding truth or discerning truth and lies? Because they are not submitting to the inward witness of ALL TRUTH! He doesn’t just bear witness to truth in godliness but also in life. The Bible says He gives us divine power for LIFE and GODLINESS. Why do we keep the Holy Spirit bound to church? He’s everywhere. He’s at your job, home, supermarket. That doesn’t mean to forsake the assembling of the saints. Though it means to know all truth everywhere you go. About His life, your life, and life around you. Life and godliness.

Even the scripture itself had to go through the Spirit before Jesus took it as truth, before He understood it and received the revelation of it. Why do you think He waited 30 years? Because He had to learn how to submit to the Holy Spirit just like you do! He had to learn how to submit His mind to the truth just like you do! Now, that same Spirit is living inside of you! He’s now living in your inward parts! He is the Law of God! He is the Holy Spirit, the Inward Witness!

What excuse do we have anymore? We have the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead! We cannot say, “Well, that was Jesus, Brother.” No! We have the same power, because we have the same spirit!

He is the witness to things unseen, the witness to the things unknown, the witness to all the mysteries and deep truths of God! The one who knows the Bible inside and out and knows what it really means, the one that knows all your problems, fears, worries and future and how to solve them and lead you.

He is the witness that knows all the things. You don’t! And all the things that you’re searching for, He knows. He is the Truth giver and the Truth revealer! He is the seed of truth and the nurturer of it! He knows every kind of truth, but His will is to serve as The Tree of Life. He is that tree now to us. And He’s not to be an advocate for the knowledge of good and evil but to draw all man to himself because this is all that matters at the end of the day.

People don’t understand that the biggest reason why Jesus died wasn't just so that he can wash away our sins, but to fill us with His Spirit and let us live by His Spirit forever again. Sin kept us away from His Spirit and the Blood has brought us back. And now through obedience, we stay in.

Let’s take a look at the blueprint itself and how to be a master in discerning His voice and every other voice. Let’s look at The Master of Voices Himself:

“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.” Matthew 4:1-11

What was the key thing Jesus used in every reply? It wasn’t about what He said only. It wasn’t about what scripture coordinates He used. It was about what source He used to defend His mind from the enemy. And what was His source? The Word of God. Though Jesus didn’t carry a Bible around everywhere He went! He had the Holy Spirit. He had the rivers of living water inside of Him. He had that same Spirit that reminded Him of all things that God ever said. And when it was in time of need, the Spirit of God saved Him!

When the devil comes, it will be the written AND THE RHEME word that saves us. Yet God Himself is the Word and activates both types of word in power, and He has the way out in time of temptation. So when the enemy comes and there’s no written word to use to defend your mind, the rivers of living water are right there inside of your belly!

“When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 16:13-17

Flesh and blood did not reveal it unto to Him, but the Father did. And I tell you this, flesh and blood, earth and water, land and sea, people and information can not truly convince you of what is truth. Yet just like Peter, the Father will. He will reveal it by His Spirit that Jesus is Lord and He will reveal all things. Not even the book itself can convince us, but His Spirit can. And everything I need to know going forward as a born again believer is by His Spirit.

“From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Matthew 16:21-23

Even Peter had a pure heart, yet Satan still used it because there was no Holy Spirit. There was no inward witness there to tell him that Jesus was actually supposed to suffer by the will of the Father. On the contrary, just earlier the Holy Spirit revealed to him that Jesus was the savior, and now he can’t see that the savior must be crucified. And what was Jesus’ reply to Him? “You mind the things of men and not of God.”

For many of us, our minding of our own life and things that a carnal man cares for is what we fall into, and we prevent ourselves from hearing God. That’s another thing that stops us from hearing Him, is our carnal mind. And our mind was trained by the world to think selfishly. We have to stop letting our carnal mind feed us truth and start letting all truth come from the Inward Witness.

If it’s not truth from His Spirit, I don’t want to hear it. The devil can use truth to make you bitter. If the truth you hear doesn’t carry the Heart of God, it will twist your heart and filter your mind with religion. Many people read the book or hear truth and still understand it wrong. When God reveals truth, He reveals it with grace to carry on that truth and still walk in the character of Christ with an upright heart.

Many people read the Word and are so far from God and full of unbelief! That’s because they heard truth in their own context and not with the context of God’s heart. There are many times that even we ourselves can say something and people can misunderstand the heart of what we’re trying to say. And we do the same thing with God, and we take His word out of context of what He meant it to mean.

This is the need of the inward witness, that we would receive truth with the right heart. Love and Truth are not separate. Though when truth that you hear is not directly from the throne room, it will carry no love. God is Love and God is Truth. When He speaks truth, it’s from the heart of love and carries love for you to walk in.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

There are many scriptures like this that say test the spirits! How can you test a spirit without the Holy Spirit? How can you test a spirit with flesh? With a book? With anything that is matter? You can’t! Because it’s spirit. Spiritual things weigh with spiritual things and carnal things with the carnal. The Bible says that the demons believe, too. They know the Word, too, and they will come as angels of light to deceive you and twist the word to make you believe a lie!

So, if the devil can preach, too, and speak truth as well, yet still be using that to deceive you, you better have more than just a book to protect you. You need the author of the book. You need the one that’s greater than the demons, the one that the demons tremble under. And He’s now in you and He will give you that deep knowing that surpasses all understanding, that surpasses all manner of thought.

We need this strengthening in our inner man all the time. We need this Spirit of God, this helper, to help us know everything. Thoughts and imaginations are constantly entering our minds, and we have to know what’s from God and what’s not. If we don’t, we can get deceived easily. Anybody has the power to cast down thoughts. God gave us that free will right to allow in Satan or Himself. Though the problem has nothing to with our ability to cast things down. The problem is what to cast down. What to ignore, what to take in, what to think upon, what to receive and what to spit out. And here is your answer:

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” John 16:13

There’s your answer: He will help you. When it’s God, it will bear witness inside. When it does not bear witness, you cast it down and move on.

When it’s the devil, you will know. When it’s the voice of religion, you will know. When it’s the voice of fear, you will know. When it’s Jezebel, you will know. You will become a Master of Voices. You will know when God is speaking and you will know when He is not. You will know what God is doing and when He is not doing because the Spirit will bear witness. Who is the master of voices? It was Jesus. And now it’s you...
