What Do You Crave?

Many Christians downfall in the end will come down to what they are craving the most! So many are craving power more than they even crave Him! So many are craving revival more than they crave Him! But people don’t understand: Revival starts when we purely crave Him, Himself, more than anything else! We need to crave Him more than we crave what He releases. Sometimes God blesses people to show them that they were craving that thing more than Him. God is blessing people, and people are turning God’s blessing into a curse! God is not turning it into a curse. They are doing it themselves! They are making the creation higher than the creator; meanwhile, that thing was supposed to lead you to lift up the creator that made and gave the creation!

If you’re constantly watching documentaries on YouTube of old revivals, trying to catch something out of it, stop it! If you’re kissing and lying on graves of dead revivalists, you are showing what you crave the most right there! A move of God rather than the God who’s moving! Jesus said you can tell a fruit by its tree, and I can tell what you are by what you eat!

What word are you eating? Are you listening to these preachers that tell you, “Here’s how you get the anointing!” “Here’s how you get prosperity!” “Here’s how you get God to bless your business!” If these are the preachers you like to hear, then I know who you are. You are what you eat! And this reigns true in the Kingdom. Because when we will only want to hear what God is saying and only what He is doing and nothing else, it shows that this is what we want, this is who we want, and this is who we are after. The Word of God is God, and it makes us like God. Though if you’re eating another word, who are you becoming one with? And what are you becoming like?

When we spiritually bottom feed, and we go after and eat any word that just sounds spiritual, it shows that we’re religious! If we decide to listen to Joe “Shmo” from the local chapel, just because he has a bible degree, but is not anointed, then what are we really after? If we’re not after the anointing and the anointed Word of God, then what are we after? What are we craving?

If we’re taking in any word that sounds like God, but is dead man’s bones, that shows we’re playing a game. A human being eats because he or she is hungry. You don’t eat just because you’re a human being. You eat because your tummy says, “Hello, feed me!” And my spirit is saying, “Hello, feed me the Kingdom!” But some people are just eating because they want to protect their title of “Christianity.”

No longer are people eating because they want to grow. People are eating so the man on the outside can be edified, so the man on the outside can have glory, honor, and praise, not God! If I’m eating anything else but His Word from Heaven, that means that I’m out to please myself or someone else. Anything that’s not from Heaven is from the World, and anything from the World is out to please the World and not God. When you find yourself listening or reading stuff that is dead or mixture, you’re showing yourself your heart and what you’re really after.

My craving is not Him; it’s to just make it in to Heaven.

My craving is not Him; it’s to just be the next Benny Hinn.

My craving is not Him; it’s to be encouraged 24/7.

My craving is not Him; it’s to have money and business!

My craving is not Him; it’s to please my loved one!

Yet those same people will respond to this message and say, “I crave Him.”

Why are people falling asleep during anointed preaching?

Why are some having trouble reading this right now? Because they think it’s too long?

No! It’s because their craving is not Him! It’s something else, but they’re doing it all in His name!

If I crave to have ice cream, and you give me chips, I’m going to eat those chips without savoring it, because my taste buds and appetite were geared towards ice cream. Have you ever been so hungry for a particular food, but for some reason you can’t get to it, and you need to eat something so you just eat something else? You end up eating it without care for the taste or enjoying it because you just need to fill your belly.

This is what we have Christians doing today. They don’t want to buy real manna from Heaven, and they decide to buy dead word just because it’s labeled the Word of God, even though it’s dead. They are craving dead word because they are craving dead works. And they are craving dead works because they are dead, having a reputation that they are alive and on fire, but nobody notices that they are dead. They are just a skeleton walking around.

If you are hearing messages just because that preacher or title presents itself as the Word of God, and not actually discerning it worthy by the Spirit, then it shows that you are living for something else. You want to read about revival all day? Well now, you will never get there! Revival is in intimacy and obedience with the Spirit of God. He Himself is Revival! You want to go read about revival, go read Him! The epistle Himself! The Spirit of God! The Spirit of Truth. The one that knows all truth that reveals all truth! That Jesus said He would show us all things. The one that lays down the path to the Will of God!

Many people today are like Ahab.

“And the king of Israel (Ahab) said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.” 1 Kings 22:8

Last time I checked, real prophets like Micaiah prophesied what the Lord was saying. If he speaks from the Lord and Ahab knows that, then why doesn’t Ahab want to hear Him? Because he doesn’t speak good things? He doesn’t speak what Ahab’s flesh wants to hear!

We have many Apostles and Prophets speaking the Word of God today, and many people are calling it hate or legalistic. Why? Not because they actually think that, but because they want to think that because they are seeking after something else. And now they want to push away their conviction, searing their conscience, that they would now call the truth a lie and the lie the truth!

In Ahab’s case, he was seeking after his own fantasy land of being king after all the mess with Jezebel. Though Micaiah told Ahab that Israel was scattered and they had no king, no shepherd. It was the truth! But Ahab refused to receive that, so then the Lord took action.

“And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets.” 1 Kings 22:22-23

The Lord put a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets, in the mouth of all those that surrounded him. He was judged because he received not the Word of God. Not because he was ignorant, but because it wasn’t to his appetite. It wasn't according to his own vision.

Some are being judged today because they crave everything else in the Kingdom but God Himself. Meanwhile, God Himself IS the Kingdom. He’s the whole point; He’s the reason you’re here; He’s the reason that you do what you do.

If there’s any other reason than Him, Himself, you may end up getting what you want. And that’s the sad part, because judgment is being put on many Christians today, and lying spirits are being sent by GOD because they want to hear a truth that fits their desires. God is turning them over to their own delusions. Christians are getting what they want, but in the process are becoming possessed by lies.

God, we pray that people would no longer crave power, blessing, honor, glory or any other fantasy over you! Let our desires be submitted to you. Let us go after God, the Being Himself, and not the Being’s possessions.  Those things will come to us because you take care of us, and you actually want to glorify us.

Though we shall know that it’s an even exchange, those that glorify you shall be glorified by you! Let us not be like Ahab. Let us not glory in our own puffed up spiritual words and imagination about ourselves or flattering words from others. Rather, let our glory be in our deep, deep craving….. for YOU!
