What Do You Want?

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

Everything we do flows out of this one question: “What do you want?"

Do you want sin? Well then, you will end up in the false grace church!

Do you want to be lifted up like a God? Then you might end up in the Motivational Faith Churches!

Do you want to be saved by works alone? Well then, you may end up in the legalistic churches!

Do you want to be once saved always saved and just be saved from Hell so you can sit on the couch? Well then, you will end up in The False Faith Churches!

Everybody ends up in these false churches because of what they want! Everybody says they want God, but who really wants God and GOD ALONE?

SO AGAIN!

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

The Pharisees asked Jesus, "How do you know what you say is true?" and He replied, "because I truly seek (desire, want) the Kingdom of God!"

Jesus had boldness from God based off His desire for God and The Kingdom!

If you’re confessing your want for the kingdom but really want to be the next big cheese in the church, you don't really want the kingdom! And for some, you may have a seed of desire for The Kingdom, but slowly your other desires of the flesh are eating away at your desires for The Kingdom. It’s like we have a War of the Seeds. In a yard, we have weeds and grass; spiritually, we have the seeds of God and the seeds of man. These seeds are at war within us, fighting for territory within us. Who’s going to win? The question is, “What are you feeding?” What you are feeding is what you will end up eating. You feed the seeds of God with The Word and The Kingdom and you will eat righteous fruit; feed the other one and your portion will be death.

In The Kingdom, we can have good wants. For example, I may want or desire my family to be saved; or I may want or desire to heal the sick. The problem is when those wants and desires become the central want in our life. And using those examples: there are people out there that their whole gospel is centered around their family or healing. This is where we get out of line because our central desire is to know Him and do His will. Suddenly the bi-products of God become the main product, and we make Jesus’ death all about our own focuses.

Money is good, but when all we preach about is money, we are filled with greed in our heart. Usually, you can’t tell who is who by what they preach. If all they are preaching about is money and selling products, then you know what they are after. If all they do is preach about their ministry and their fame, then you know what they are after. They mix in the Word of God here and there, and they have teachings, though what is the majority of what they talk about?

What is it really centered around? You can tell a tree by its fruit!

If all they talk about is heaven or hell, then you know all they want to do is just escape Hell. These are all good wants, but these should not be the center of your walk

This is what Jesus said we should want:

Our Father, Who art in heaven

Hallowed be Thy Name;

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

The Our Father prayer wasn't even really about a prayer. The disciples asked what should we pray, but really Jesus was NOT trying to tell them say these exact words, and poof, abracadabra, and everything is sealed! NO! When we pray we are praying because we do not have and we want or need. So Jesus was actually showing them what they should desire most of all.

THIS IS A LIST OF WANTS!!!!! JESUS IS SAYING TO THEM, YOU WANT TO PRAY? WELL, HERE IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DESIRE FIRST!

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread

forgive us our trespasses

lead us not into temptation

deliver us from evil

A list that speaks of desiring His kingdom, for it to be established spiritually on earth. For Him to feed us the Word! To forgive us from our sins daily as we forgive others! To set us free and keep us from evil!

THESE SHOULD BE THE SIMPLICITY OF OUR WANTS IN THE KINGDOM!!!

The core of our hearts! We have made everything so difficult because we give into our own lustful wants. Then we wonder why we are all bound up!

We are chasing after dreams and accolades, trying to be the next Christian star, yet we are all bound up in depression and sin! Why is that?

Is the blood not thick enough for you? Did Jesus not pay it all? NO! It’s because you don't want it!

God spoke to me and took me back to simplicity. He said, "Joseph, Do You Want Me!” I say, "YES LORD." He says, "Well, you can have me,” “ALL of Me!"

Why are some of us becoming dead like the Red Sea? What happened to the Fire we first had? What happened to the Zeal and Anointing we walked in, in the beginning? Why did it run stale?

Beloved, God can never run stale; it’s you! He's saying come back to your first love, come back to how you first went after Me, your first desires, where you brought your first holy fruit. My power, it’s all there for you, my beloved! Though it’s in my will and wants! Not yours!!! Your freedom is in My will, and My will is for your freedom! Let’s make an exchange he says, My will for yours! And you can have all of Me! YES! ALL OF MY POWER AND SPIRIT! It’s up to you, my beloved! It’s up to you...…..
